Compact 1950s-60s Danish two-seat sofa upholstered in original Gabriel Savak attributed striped wool. The sofa has a tailored shelter-arm form with slightly flared sides, a single bench seat, upholstered back, tapered wood legs, and aged brass nailhead trim along the arms and lower apron. The Savak textile gives the piece a strong period Danish character, with deep red, brown, ochre, black, and natural striping. The scale makes it useful as a small sofa, entry piece, bedroom settee, or accent seating in a study or sitting room. The upholstery has been professionally cleaned and presents extremely well overall. It has an honest vintage look rather than a newly restored appearance. There are very minimal signs of wear present. Structurally solid and ready to use.
