This elegant piece of furniture is among the finest designs of German Mid-Century Modern and impresses with its harmonious proportions, floating appearance, and sophisticated combination of materials. The frame is made of dark-stained African teak. The slightly inclined backrest features original rattan weaving, while the seat and back have been reupholstered in a high-quality, warm bouclé fabric from the Danish premium manufacturer Kvadrat/Sahco. The interplay of fine wood, delicate weaving, and textile surface lends the sofa exceptional depth and timeless elegance. Condition: Very good overall condition. Upholstery and cover are new. The original wickerwork is in beautiful condition with only a few expertly executed repairs.
