Wonderful Victorian style sofa by Carol Hicks Bolton for EJ Victor Furniture Company. This kidney-shaped piece features an ornately carved walnut frame with floral accents, and open work detail along the back seams. The sofa has an ornately carved skirt and stands on eight carved cabriole legs. The frame is carved walnut which has been covered in gold leaf and then antiqued. Cushion is a blend of foam and down so it is very comfortable without sagging. Cushion is reversible.
