This is a late 19th to early 20th century reversible wool coverlet in mint condition. Red and blue are the primary colors with an additional charcoal black running through the weave. The coverlet has a fringe on just one side and the edging is a self binding so it is easy to determine which way is the top of the bed. Dimensions are: 73.5 length and 67 width. There is a 2.5 inch fringe in one side. This coverlet was found in an estate in southeastern Pennsylvania.
