A tied beiderwand jacquard coverlet handwoven by Gabriel Rausher in Delaware, OH in 1851. Wool and cotton in vibrant coral red, golden yellow, soft cream and rich navy blue. Floral medallion pattern with bird detail. Woven on a narrow loom into one long piece, then cut in half cross-ways and sewn together along long edges (creating center seam). Dimensions: 72" W x 86" D
