Vinatge; c. 1990s, German, hand-forged large and heavy, serpentine bronze tieback, by Blome Drapery Hardware Manufacture, which is a "To the Trade," represented line, this particular item, which has ended itself to an Egyptian revival, modern interpretation, with an eclectic ambiance. Blome is a manufacturer, in Europe, that has collaborated with the likes of some well known Murano A'etelliers and a Metal Foundry, known for it's quality door/handle hardware. This particle item was a showroom model, and never used in any residence, since it's introduction. It has been in storage, and wrapped There is some gorgeous patina wear, indicative to the inherent qualities of certain metals, when touched by the human hand, and the elements. One can also see in some close up images, the actual scrape marks, from doing hand forged work, prior to casting it.
