Late 19 Century Large Italian Velvet Venetian Drapes -Curtain Set Of Two Panels And Valence Bevilacqua Style

Stunning set of drapes in the shape of a U ( see first picture for shape ) so 2 sides with a valence attach to the side panels , , done out of a splendid velvet in the baroque floral style with a beautiful stripe background , the colors are rich and strong , the velvet shiny plays with the light and provide a unique elegance , in the style of Bevilacqua , as we have not found any brand name , but quality is there , so all leave to think about that origin .From a castle in Bordeaux area the owners told us that the age is late 1800 hundreds , size is impressive 125 H on 95 W, side panels are 28 W each , the opening in between is 43 " W the hight of the valence 27 " ,readapted in the 70 s they have not been lined or reused .
