An artisanal hand-cut floral jali lattice set into reclaimed teak, painted in a distressed white that leaves the wood's texture visible beneath — scaled to a more compact 96" footprint. The honeycomb geometry of the panel is punctuated with carved rosettes at regular intervals, a motif drawn from the screened windows and balconies of Rajasthani havelis, where the pattern served to cool interior air and diffuse sunlight. The surrounding frame stays in its natural teak tone, so the white lattice reads as inlay rather than paint from a distance. As with all of DE-COR's reclaimed-teak pieces, small natural cracks in the wood are expected and are filled with teak powder rather than disguised — part of what distinguishes salvaged material from new-cut lumber. The included mattress is custom-tufted in cotton canvas, sized 88" x 40" to the frame. At 96" long, this size suits a den, primary bedroom, or reading nook where a full sofa footprint isn't practical. Pillows and throws shown are for styling only.
