DETAILS Found in Kerala, this entire, antique day bed was fashioned of rare ebony wood. It was designed with scrolled arms that display finely carved floreate roundels on the ends; a motif echoed on blocks above the legs. The legs were artistically fashioned with ring turnings and inverted, reeded cups. The reeded apron holds a newly caned surface. It is a stunning piece that would also make a lovely settee or chaise lounge.
