The Geometric Daybed is a daybed with a nanoceramic coated tubular steel frame and a carved, solid wood seat deck with pegged solid wood slats.‎ Dual-density foam cushions feature a knife edge detail with double stitching.‎ Materials: Satin Nickel, Bronze, Satin Brass or Gunmetal nanoceramic coated tubular steel frame.‎ Carved solid Walnut, Oak, Ash, or Ebonized Ash seat deck with pegged slats.‎The Geometric Colection from BassamFellows celebrates the sublimity of pure geometry championed by the Wiener Werkstätte and the Bauhaus.‎ In the same way that designers of these two influential schools tested the liberating material properties of bentwood and tubular steel, Bassam refined a set of constraints to spirit cold-rolled tubular steel into forms that hold the horizontal planes of a seat deck or tabletop, achieving the poetic appearance of extreme lightness and suspension.‎ These stately steel scaffolds operate as a connective tissue uniting the furniture’s functional elements in a Gesamtkunstwerk, or total work of art, a synthesis central to BassamFellows’ philosophy of formal and functional coherence in design.‎
