This very elegant Danish mid-century rosewood vintage daybed was made some time in the 1960s. It closely relates to Ejvind A. Johansson’s, or Hans Wegner’s projects from the same period. The daybed features a solid wood frame with a quilted mattress in black leather with new foam inside, along with two loose decorative cushions. The cushions can be arranged upon ones will, as a back support or for more comfortable laying position, or under the legs. Their shape and size offers many possibilities of finding your most comfortable resting or reading arrangement A unique feature of this piece is the veneered storage compartment under the mattress. It pulls out and in easily. It can be used to hide your favorite blanket, sheets or pillows. This way the daybed can be also used a regular bed still keeping the elegant and neat vibe in the room.
