Minerva daybed, designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Søn. The daybed features an elegant solid teak frame and an attractive salmon-colored cotton upholstery that complements the warm tone of the wood. Its clean lines and refined craftsmanship make it a timeless example of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design. Condition: The teak frame is in good vintage condition with minor age-related wear consistent with normal use. The upholstery remains presentable and usable; however, the padding has become somewhat thin over time, and the underlying springs can be felt slightly when sitting or lying on it. The piece would benefit from additional padding or reupholstering to restore optimal comfort.
