A large daybed with scrolled back re upholstered in faux suede. The arched base supported on large stepped brass plinths, in tessellated marble in natural colours with pink marble decoration in brass inlay. An opulent and substantial piece in organic tones. Late 20th century by Maitland Smith USA. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
