Rather than upholstering the Horween leather in tufts on the seat, Erickson opted for a ribbing effect. “I love the profile it provides and it’s a more contemporary way to upholster a piece,” adds Erickson. Other modernized elements? A subtle blackened brass finish and asymmetrically tapered legs.
