The esteemed bed model LC5, created by the illustrious A.R.P. (Atelier de Recherche Plastique), was established in 1954 by the visionary Joseph-André Motte, Michel Mortier, and Pierre Guariche. Their noble objective was to present design furniture in a series, which would be both technically and aesthetically groundbreaking. Regrettably, this collaboration among the three brilliant designers was short-lived, coming to an end in 1957. This particular model features an integrated shelf and an ash veneer frame, gracefully supported by a square tubular base crafted from black lacquered metal. This exquisite piece is part of the prestigious Les Huchers-Minvielle edition and dates back to approximately 1955. Rectangular frame featuring a side shelf in light wood resting on four profiled wooden legs. The fabric has been newly reupholstered with new Pierre Fray fabric. The ending part of this bed is a little loose. Could be easily fixed. Unmarked.
