Large and heavy piece of glass features a simplistic, elegant form and design in thick clear glass with a black patch to create a stunning centrepiece which captures the light beautifully and is a wonderful midcentury vase. Interestingly, there is no such thing as truly black glass, rather it is a very dark Amethyst (purple) and it is difficult to produce a black looking glass - however, here, Cenedese has managed to do this.
