Lovely 18th-Century large French Quimper lobed charger that a collector world love. The plate is handcrafted faience with a pretty scalloped edge, hand painted with a dancing Breton bride and groom. They are surrounded on the edge by alternating garlands of flowers and tiny black ermine tails. This wonderful lobed or pleated plate is marked on the reverse, HB. In restored condition, it is a stunning example of antique Quimper at its finest.
