The Alas Bowl from ferm LIVING takes its name from the Spanish word for "wing," its form shaped into a pair of gentle, wing-like curves that give the piece a distinctly sculptural quality. Mouth-blown from solid color glass, each bowl carries subtle variations in shape and surface that make it entirely its own object. The organic form works equally well holding fruit or objects as it does sitting empty, the glass itself providing enough visual interest to carry the piece on its own.
