Contemporary Modern, Kubbe Large Bowl, Varnished Brass

Kubbe collection was designed with inspiration from the domes of the courtyards, shops and workshops of the Grand Bazaar, which has been the center of silver-smiting in Istanbul for centuries. In the collection, the geometric relationships of dome, sphere and circle forms are examined and translated into contemporary design objects by using traditional production methods.The collection consists of different sizes of serving plates, bowls, champagne holders and candle holders of different sizes and is produced by local artisans.“Beyond its product variety and visitor potential, the Grand Bazaar is an important building block in Istanbul's goods culture, due to the craft culture it has had for centuries.”.
