An exercise in bare minimalism, this fascinating design by Ron Gilad hints, with its ellipsoidal profile, at old racetracks and even antique Roman arenas. Its hollow - crafted from a single, slightly curved beech piece - hosts fruits with a certain pleasant rigor but when it is full its silouette almot disappears.
