Bowl L is made of ceramic using the Raku technique. The Bowl is created entirely by hand and is finished on a lathe to give it a nice, smooth appearance. Each Bowl is fired twice, the first time called "cookie" and the second time on the Raku kiln. A craquelé yellow Crystalline is applied to the Bowl with a red tinge to the edges. The black outer surface is unglazed to ensure a natural and elegant look. The contrast between the shiny and the smoky part with the texture gives this sculpture a unique character. Stamped by Maker
