A set of 1940s/50s Mexican Tlaquepague redware nesting bowls with hand-painted decoration of a single fish in butter yellow, green and blue, and coordinating border accents over the natural red color of the clay. Each bowl has a clear glaze protective finish but it's unknown if the glaze meets today's food safety standards so only decorative use is recommended. In excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear to the glaze. Large to small: 13.4"W x 9.75"D x 2.75"H; 11.6"W x 8.3"D x 2.6"H; and, 9.8"W x 7.2"D x 1.8"H.
