C. Deffner was a metal goods factory founded in 1815 in Esslingen am Neckar, primarily producing table and bar equipment. The metal basket offered here, with its rare glass insert, dates from the 1950s or 1960s. The company ceased operations in 1969. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
