Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso yellow green and light blue Italian art glass cornucopia / horn of plenty shape bowl. The piece is documented to designer Archimede Seguso, with original label underneath. The red label on the bottom, is worn, but should read “Made In Murano Italy”. You can make out some of the words. The blue layer can be better seen at the end curled tail of this sculptural bowl. It is also made with a high amount of Uranium UV reactive glass, and glows brightly under a blacklight (see second photo). Would make a great display piece on any coffee table, dresser or credenza. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 9 1/2” long x 6” tall x 4” wide. Literature:Murano Glass - Themes and Variations (1910-1970), by Marc Heiremans, illustrates the label.
