A North African likely Taureg Moroccan large charger. It is carved out of a native wood and the covered in a hand hammered copper and brass sheet decorated with all sorts of symbolism, including a crocodile, a serpent, a 6 sided Solomonic star, a cross and some imbedded coins among others. There are larger nail heads across the rim. Quite a few old repairs visible on the back. It is quite impressive in size at almost 19 inches in diameter.
