In the world of poroid fungi, polypores coexist with the boletus from which it can be easily distinguished with a typically hard surface, the iconic non-mushroom shape, and through growing on wood as decomposers. The series Polypore expands the Fungus collection with functional bowls inspired by the morphology of these curious mushrooms. The bowls come as a result of free shaping with traditional handmade techniques, glass liberated from moulds the form of unique organic shapes reminiscing the eerie kingdom of “tree mushrooms”.
