Primitive wood bowl, possibly an old handmade farm trough, with a nailed on strip of leather. The leather is very old and very stiff. It appears that the leather was added to prevent whatever was kept in the bowl from falling into/through the crack in the wood (under the leather). It’s very heavy. Unmarked aside from a faint pattern on the leather. It is a beautifully aged, rustic organic style piece.
