Our Reza lacquered bowl mixes materials in the best possible way: unexpectedly. Each decorative bowl is made from sand-casted aluminum, with a textured, sand-like exterior in a rich charcoal hue. The interior is smoothed out and coated with an enamel-like material that fills it with rich color. (The 18-inch bowl is available in dark teal; the 14-inch bowl in a dusty purple.) After enameling, layers of lacquer are applied for the ultimate in luster, a process that adds a sense of depth to the sleek bowl.
