A hand-crafted mango wood bowl. The bowl was cut from a much larger slab of mango wood and features a ribbed texture on its sides. Unique to this bowl are the mix of bleached and burnt finishes. The outter exterior of the bowl features a bleached finish achieved through bleaching the wood multiple times and then sanding it dowm to a smooth finish. The burnt finish that occupies the basin was achieved through burning the wood three time and finished with a clear coat.
