Ugo Zaccagnini porcelain compote / tazza consisting of a wide & shallow bowl on a footed base. Cream hued porcelain adorned with a green / gold accents of leaves & stylized flower buds. Highly traditional form with fresh mid-century modern decoration. Marks on underside of base: Z initial with squiggly line through and "Italy" plus model #UZ1998 identify this piece as being fabricated 1937 - 1958. Excellent condition; no chips, no cracks, no crazing, minimal gilt wear.
