This lovely vintage glass bowl is by Maurice Heaton and signed in verso MH as shown in the photos. It has a semi round almond shape with a center of color. He was English and moved to NY in 1914. His life span was from 1900-1990. He was part of the American Studio Glass Movement. This is a subtle bowl for decorative purposes or for serving. Must be hand washed. It is textural with the white lines.radiating from the center to the exterior perhaps mimicking the form of the sun's rays. This is from the 60's.It is known that his work is in the Smithsonian American Art Museum. His work is collectable.
