Antique 18th c. French porcelain tea caddy in the sprig or cornflower pattern favored by Marie Antoinette and Thomas Jefferson. Decorated in shades of green and purple enhanced by gilding. Octagonal shape with canted corners. Measures 3 3/8" x 2 3/8" x 3 1/4" tall. Good condition - lid absent.
