Rare old tin can from van Melle, manufactured between 1925 and 1935. The tin has very nice images of different types of birds, all contained in a gold colored frame. Van Melle started around 1840 as a bakery in Breskens The Netherlands In 1900, Izaak van Melle also started producing it mechanically. Isaac's brother Dirk-Machiel started around 1920 a factory for biscuits and waffles and foffees. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
