The Melancholia jars from Muubs are hand drawn in terracotta. Afterwards the raw jar gets a base of black colour, which then is sanded. Then a thin layer of grey colour is applied which also is sanded to get the right colour and nuances. Finally the jar gets a layer of coating. Use it as a flowerpot with a plant in it or use it for decoration as it is. Be aware of that you cant plant directly into the jar. Please note that the jar is not waterproof. A thoughtfully designed piece that brings depth and character into the home. Crafted from Terracotta, 13.75"W x 13.8"D x 11.8H", it highlights natural variation and texture. The finish and form create a collected, lived-in feel while maintaining a modern edge.
