For the Shipibo, these designs are far more than decoration; they are a visual manifestation of their cosmology, representing the harmonious and rhythmic patterns of the spiritual world, often associated with the songs of female shamans (*muraya*). These patterns are believed to hold power and are intended to be seen, felt, and even "read." The vessel's form is masterfully crafted, combining utility with profound spiritual representation.
