Cast and polished bronze lidded jar from Nepal or Northern India. Finely made and detailed in a series of fine bronze linear rings around the body and with a series of stepped and curved necks and rises on the form, ending a fine softly pointed finial. This is a temple jar in the culture, used for puja or incense. The size is 4.75" tall, and 3.15" wide. The condition is very good, solid, and weighty with a warm patina.
