This beautiful pair of globular-shaped pharmacy jars have two handles and an element that is quite unusual for this type of object, namely a pouring spout at the bottom, facing downwards, so the content was probably stopped by a special cap. The vases are decorated entirely in white and blue monochrome with plant elements in acanthus leaves that cover the entire surface, framing the cartouche: OL . Hyperica Gimpl / OL. Violatum. The beautiful, intact handles curl into volutes and surmount the two blue leonine masks. The vases are in a good state of preservation, with some slight surface chipping and show no obvious restorations. The dimensions are 33cm in height x 34cm max width x 12cm diameter of the upper mouth.
