Both backplates have the age-consistent wear, including scratches and nicks, both backplates have a slight bend, and patina, one backplate has some light paint on the front. This set would make a statement to any door that it goes on. The measurements are, 5.25" T x 1 5/8" W about .25" D (between the round hole where the spindle goes and the plate).
