From a private collection, an 1890s antique silver plate 3-handled regatta trophy. Trophy is inscribed, "Univ. Coll Lond - Long Jump - G.V. Birks 1889". The trophy is quite solid and heavy with a beautiful, mirror-bright patina. It measures 7" tall and 7-1/2" from handle to handle. No dents or dings to the trophy. The base of the trophy is glass--quite interesting. A handsome, collectible trophy for your collection!
