A whimsical Nineteenth Century English string holder in the form of a barrel keg. The barrel is made of mahogany with brass strapping. The string is dispensed through the brass spout. Condition is excellent with a fine patina. Circa: 1850. Dimensions: Height 3.5", Width 3.75".
