Mid-to-late 19thC opera glasses by Berlin firm, Gebruder Strauss. Barrels are a bronze/copper colored metal with a black frame. Our research shows that the company was founded in 1840, Berlin. These probably date to then & 1900. Extended, 4.2"W x 3.6H"; retracted, 4.2"W x 2.8"H. Very good condition at 120-180 years old; optics work as designed, minimal wear, focus wheel is a little tight to turn and has a small split, as shown. Slight rattle when flipped upside down.
