This sun screen was made by Stan Bitters from strips of fired unglazed clay. Each strip is approximately 2 cm / 0.8 inch wide and they vary in length. The individual pieces are joined by copper wire. Chiming occurs when the unattached ends strike one another in the breeze. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
