Antonio Da Ros became known for his unusual works at CENEDESE in Murano. Often solid glass bodies, clear glass with asymmetrically incorporated overlay. Our piece here was worked more horizontally in width, the glass reflects and directs the ambient light and shines in fine reflections. Uranium glass, when exposed to black light, glows intensely neon-colored. In addition to the irregular, amorphous surface, our piece has a pierced, irregular bubble and a flat opening at the top. All in all, an unusual eye-catcher that catches the light and appreciates a bright location. Very slight signs of use. We are offering this rare glass object from Cendese, Murano, from a Berlin glass collection. The master glassmaker Antonio Da Ros probably created the piece. The large object has a mysterious greenish glow and reflects the ambient light very well. Cenedese also works only with the best quality glass, without streaks or air bubbles. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
