This late 19th C is sure a replica of the Champion Trotter Horse "Ethan Allen". This running horse weathervane was one of the more popular ones manufactured by the prolific copper weathervane makers of the late 19th century.

 This stunning weathervane is in excellent display condition, Shows some wear appropriate to age (see photos) with a few dings, worn off paint in places and the intact back leg has a slight seam issue. It also shows some paint overspray from painting the barn this weathervane stood on top of. Stands on base at 31 1/2" W x 21" T x 3" Deep body 11" x 4" deep black base
