Mid to late 19th c American hand carved wood thermometer with engraved brass temperature plate. Interesting to note is that Preezing is the spelling for Freezing. Today this spelling for temperature is only used in scientific literature. A rare find. Possibly an early Taylor thermometer. Measures: 16.25" high FS M-3036
