Burmese Hsun-Ok temple box which was used to present food offerings to Buddhist monasteries. Made of lacquered wood, they are characterized by their tiered "stupa" shape and finial. This features the traditional craftsmanship and design typical of these ceremonial vessels. Beautiful age and patina on this antique piece with minor flaws given its 100+ years.
