Chinoiserie bronze from France, circa 1900 romance with the far eastern religions. Elements of the Hindu and Buddhist imagery with art references from India, China, and Japan. The fine casting and details suggest a French source. Cast on one piece with attached mandorla, the underside with mountings for a now removed marble. The measurements are 12.75" tall and 10" by 5.25" overall. Very good condition.
