An impressive lion's head door knocker on a large door, such as the ones mounted on many fine London mansions, always makes for a grand entrance. This vintage English beauty has very nice detailing and a wonderful old patina. The knocker has been polished yet still retains a nice mellow patina. It is in excellent vintage condition with normal wear from age and use. The two wrought iron screws with washers will allow for mounting on doors measuring 1 5/8" thick. If your door measures more than 1 5/8" thick, additional screw lengths are available upon request. A solid and heavy distinctive piece with lots of character and sophistication.
