This antique mold blown glass inkwell has a brass screw-off hinged lid and an interesting raised dot pattern design. The vintage glass ink well is rather curious 19th-century writing desk accessory. It appears to be hand blown glass as it has a pontil on the bottom but it also has mold lines. Unscrewing and removing the brass hinged lid reveals the antique glass ink bottle has a rough unfinished rim. The antique glass inkwell is small, measuring about 2 inches tall with an approximately 1 3/4 inch diameter.. The antique inkwell is in good condition showing age appropriate wear.
