Italian ceramicist Paola Paronetto works in paper-clay, a medium she developed as her own poetic language. Layered by hand with meticulous care, each sculptural object bears the tactile evidence of its making - the brushstrokes, the organic surface. Her Bottles (2025) are each created as a solitary form yet reach toward one another, united by eccentric character and balletic balance. Matte glazes absorb and shift with light throughout the day, creating a dreamlike quality that transforms with each hour. These pieces are meant to converse; Paronetto positions them in familial clusters, their forms speaking to one another. Clean with a feather duster or soft, damp cloth. Colors exclusive to DWR. Made in Italy.
